Having already achieved what many young artists dream of with his debut single "Coming Home", entering the official HR Top list where he spent multiple weeks, as well as spending several weeks at number one on leading radio stations in the region.
Young singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Nikola Pirc, better known to the public as donniksy, presents his new single "Alyssa," a song that marks his biggest authorial and production leap to date.
This time, he has done what he had long wished for: he produced the song entirely by himself. In his own studio, he played all the instruments and signed off on the complete production, making "Alyssa" his most personal and authentic release yet.
"With every new song, I want to push my own boundaries. 'Alyssa' is the first time I've created the entire soundscape myself, from the first idea to the last note. That is precisely why this song holds a special place among everything I've released so far," says donniksy.
Although known to the wider public for his successful singles "Coming Home" / "Doma vraćam se" and "Siget," his development in recent years has not gone unnoticed by music professionals either. ZAMP included him among the 30 most successful songwriters under the age of 30, confirming what the audience and radio editors have recognized for some time: he is one of the most promising young songwriters on the Croatian music scene.
"Alyssa" brings a new chapter to his sound. Emotional, modern, and production-wise ambitious, the song blends an organic approach with contemporary pop production, while donniksy once again confirms that he is not afraid to explore different musical directions while remaining recognizable and true to himself.
