The Rolling Stones have released a new music video for "Mr Charm," the latest single from the album *Foreign Tongues*.
Director Henry Scholfield, known for his work with artists such as Billie Eilish and Dua Lipa, cast Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgård in the lead role.
Best known for his performances in "Succession" and "Big little lies", as well as films including "The Northman", "The legend of Tarzan" and "Godzilla vs. Kong", Skarsgård continues the album's run of high-profile Hollywood appearances.
The track began with a demo guitar riff from Mick Jagger, joined by contributions from Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood, while Steve Winwood adds organ.
Jagger has singled out drummer Steve Jordan's danceable groove and the song's rapid-fire vocal delivery. "Mr Charm" offers an ironic take on the uncertain state of the world, touching on politics, technology and climate change.
The new video brings together the Stones trademark energy, sharp humour and another memorable meeting of rock'n'roll and Hollywood.
