Istrian funk-hip-hop collective Tacoor, founded in Poreč, are among this year’s nominees for the Muzzik Video Awards 5G, competing in the Funky Groove category with their music video for “Što'š popit?”.
Led by Mladen Đaković, Tacoor have built a distinctive sound that blends funk, hip-hop, crossover and rock, complemented by their characteristic humour, sarcasm and self-irony. In addition to being the band’s frontman and one of its songwriters, Đaković is also a director and an experienced music-video filmmaker.
The video for “Što'š popit?” reflects that strong audiovisual identity, with Mladen Đaković taking on the roles of cinematographer, director and editor.
Tacoor have now recorded a special video message calling on their audience to support their nominated video and vote for them in the MVA 5G competition.
