Serbian singer-songwriter and artist Kralj Čačka has released his new single and video “Povedi ljubav sa mnom”, another distinctive meeting point of his musical and poetic imagination.
Written by Kralj Čačka himself, the song goes beyond a straightforward declaration of love, using unusual imagery and a gentle, intimate atmosphere to leave plenty of room for personal interpretation.
He is joined by Marko Marić on road crew duties, glockenspiel, vibraphone, piano and organ, Miladin Stojković on double bass, and Uroš Milkić on drums.
The song’s visual world was created by director Miloš Gojković, with illustrations by Aleksandra Stošić Krstović, adding a dreamlike and slightly surreal dimension to the track.
With Kralj Čačka on vocals and electric guitar, “Povedi ljubav sa mnom” brings together the directness of a singer-songwriter performance and a carefully layered arrangement, once again demonstrating the distinctive artistic universe that has become his signature.
