Julijan Erič presents new single "Hold On"

His first independently released song in English

 

Hold On is the new single by Ljubljana guitarist and songwriter Julijan Erič. It is his first independently released song in English, which stylistically moves between ballad, blues and rock and emphasizes a sincere, organic sound.

Julijan Erič, a musician from Ljubljana, has been working in various bands in Slovenia since 2005. From the first high school punk and ska bands (Social Cookie, Na Suho), to various blues rock and fusion groups (ĐEZ, Turbo Blues, The Đipsiz, BorZ, Prismojeni Profesorji Bluesa, Martin Ramoveš band, Brata Erič, Dear Annie, Magic Jam, Geronimo & The Bullet Proof Band, Papa Joe).

In Ljubljana and elsewhere, with club performances by the aforementioned and various "jam" ad hoc bands, he has been actively maintaining the Blues, Rock, Funk, Fusion, Jazz musical atmosphere over the years. He is also internationally recognized as a unique interpreter of Jimi Hendrix's music. He actively performs and creates with the bands Prismojeni Profesorji Bluesa, 3Tone, Midnight Lightnin', Julijan Erič Experience, Brata Erič, Dear Annie, Magic Jam, Geronimo & The Bulletproof Band. He has collaborated and still collaborates with numerous musicians at home and abroad: Igor Leonardi, Marko Črnčec, Mohamed Med Camara, Billy Cox, Jim Belushi, Branko Đurić, Maja Keuc, Raiven, Astrid Kljun, Bor Zakonjšek, Tadej Košir, Andraž Mazi, Gal Gjurin, Martin Ramoveš, Vlado Kreslin, Klemen Klemen, Peter Lovšin, Vasko Atanasovski and many others.

 

The lyrics touch on personal trials, relationships and the inner strength we need to persevere even in difficult times. The musical composition is based on dynamics, feeling and expressive guitar playing, without excessive production.

 

The single Hold On was released independently and is available on all major digital platforms from February 13th.
