KATSEYE with Hootie Frutti announce WILD

Globally popular, two-time GRAMMY Award-nominated girl group KATSEYE open an exciting new chapter with the release of their third EP 'WILD', released by HYBE x Geffen Records (Universal Music Group). Shaped by the group's pivotal two-year journey, the project conveys a sense of an unpredictable and exciting ride fueled by personal development and transformation.

The EP features five songs, including the Billboard Hot 100 hits "PINKY UP" and "Animal," and follows up on 2025's "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS," which earned the GRAMMY Award-nominated global girl group a top-five spot on the Billboard 200.

Along with the new EP, KATSEYE have also released the official music video for "Hootie Frutti", which depicts a vibrant Brazilian underground party that is about to end - until KATSEYE comes along and brings it back to life.

The video was directed by Alfred Marroquin, known for his collaborations with artists such as Bad Bunny and Billie Eilish, while the production is signed by the company Somesuch. Ashley Soloman was the executive producer and Whitney Jackson was the producer.

On the day of the release, KATSEYE performed as part of the Citi Concert Series on NBC's TODAY show. Earlier last week, the group returned to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where they spoke with the host again and made their first appearance on late-night television.

After a successful premiere held on August 4 at The Grove in Los Angeles, a limited release of "KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS" is underway in 1,700 theaters in more than 60 countries worldwide.

The film, directed by Nadia Hallgren, takes fans deeper into the bold new chapter the group begins with the release of 'WILD'. Through previously unreleased footage, videos from fans known as EYEKONS, and intimate conversations with the group members, the film explores the strong bond between KATSEYE and their fans around the world, which has grown into a true cultural phenomenon.

KATSEYE will kick off THE WILDWORLD TOUR on September 1st at Dublin's 3Arena. The global arena tour sold out in less than 48 hours, and includes two concerts each at London's The O2 Arena, UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York State, Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City.
KATSEYE recently headlined their first festivals - Hinterland in St. Charles, Iowa and Head In The Clouds in Pasadena, California.

Leaving the "beautiful chaos" recorded on the previous EP, "WILD" brings something more euphoric and unrestrained. The project is rooted in self-discovery, as KATSEYE members embrace all versions of themselves. The result is a release that feels open, boundless and completely authentic.
The opening track and first single "PINKY UP" expands the musical world that KATSEYE are building - confident, playful and always aimed at pushing the boundaries of pop music. The song premiered live at the Coachella festival.

The follow-up single, "Animal," is a bold and seductive pop anthem that celebrates embracing one's wild side. One of the authors of the song is Ed Sheeran, who said: "Last year, when I was in Mexico, I heard the song 'Gnarly' by KATSEYE and was blown away. I said I was a fan of theirs and contacted them to see if I could write a song for them. So we made 'Animal' together."

PEOPLE magazine stated, "'Animal' explores the contrast between public image and private, unfettered energy...KATSEYE show fans what it means to live WILD."

"Hootie Frutti" is KATSEYE's strongest statement to date - it's fierce, sun-drenched and full of attitude from the first drum beat. Based on powerful percussion inspired by Brazilian phonca and maximalist pop production, the track combines powerful drums with playful flirtation infused with motifs of food and luxury, turning confidence into a full sensory experience.

"Bel Air" is a bright and emotionally charged ballad that evokes the bittersweet pain of outgrowing something we once loved.

The EP closes with the charismatic "That Way," a playful yet determined track about power relations and desire, told solely on the group's terms—as an invitation, not a plea.
CD and vinyl editions dedicated to individual members of KATSEYE exclusively feature the bonus track "Unlove", which band member Lara Raj co-wrote and produced with Amy Allen, known for her work with Harry Styles, Justin Bieber, and Ross Golan, who has collaborated with Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez.
The group took the #1 spot on Billboard's 2026 "21 Under 21" list and was featured in Variety's "Power of Young Hollywood Impact Report."
