Global pop superstar, three-time Grammy Award winner, Ariana Grande, has released her eighth studio album, Petal, on Babydoll Music/Republic Records (Universal Music Group). The long-awaited album was co-written and produced by Ariana Grande and ILYA, with Max Martin joining them as co-writer and producer on three tracks.
Along with the release of the album, the official music video for the song "petal", directed by Christian Breslauer, will be premiered today at 5 pm.
The album's lead single, "hate that i made you love me", debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming her tenth career number one single. With this success, she became the first artist in history to have the lead single from each of her first eight studio albums debut in the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
This summer, Ariana Grande returned to the stage as part of her first world tour in more than seven years, called The Eternal Sunshine Tour.
