Slovenian indie band Dear Annie have unveiled the music video for “There It Goes”, one of the standout tracks from their newly released debut album Freshly Squeezed, which arrived on June 5 via Sonic Beams Records.
The band consists of Anja Trobec (vocals, keyboards), Julijan Erič (guitars, vocals), Marko Petrič (bass guitar, keyboards, vocals) and Zlatko Djogić (drums and percussion).
According to the band, Freshly Squeezed features nine original songs written and recorded over several years of collaboration. The album explores relationships, everyday struggles, vulnerability, doubt and moments of joy while blending indie rock, dream pop, funk and R&B influences into the group's distinctive sound.
The album was produced by the band themselves, while mixing and mastering duties were handled by Robi Bulešić and Grega Smola Crnkovič. Recorded at Haystax Studio in Ljubljana, Freshly Squeezed serves as Dear Annie's first full-length artistic statement.
“There It Goes” highlights the band's signature combination of dreamy textures, soulful melodies and groove-driven arrangements, offering a strong introduction to one of Slovenia's promising emerging indie acts.
