Zagreb-based band GreyNoise have released their new single and music video “Anima,” a powerful and emotional track that further develops their signature blend of modern rock and alternative metal. The video was written and directed by Tara Turopoljac, while the song explores themes of inner conflict, identity, and personal transformation.
The music was composed by Vilim Petrina, Vjeko Zuhrić-Novaković, Lea Magzan, Vanja Cvijanović, and Viktor Petrina, with lyrics written by Lea Magzan. Production, editing, and mixing were handled by Jovan Kosta Vučetić, while the final mastering was completed by acclaimed American engineer Joel Wanasek.
The visual aspect of “Anima” enhances the song’s atmosphere and emotional depth. Through a series of symbolic and cinematic scenes, the video reflects the track’s themes of self-discovery and confronting one’s inner self, creating a compelling companion piece to the music.
Over the past few years, GreyNoise have steadily established themselves within the regional rock and metal scene, and “Anima” showcases the band’s ability to combine melodic songwriting, heavy instrumentation, and emotional honesty into a distinctive musical identity.
