Oliver Tree Releases “Superhero” — A Bold Return of an Eccentric Anti-Hero

American musician, director, and performer Oliver Tree has released a new single and music video titled “Superhero,” marking the start of a new artistic chapter. Known for his offbeat ideas, satirical storytelling, and distinct visual identity, Tree once again blends humor, emotion, and absurdity in a way only he can.

The track “Superhero” carries Oliver’s signature message — that individuality and difference are what truly make us powerful. Written and produced by Tree himself, the song serves as the lead single from his upcoming fourth studio album “Love You Madly, Hate You Badly,” expected in 2026. Using the superhero motif, Tree explores themes of self-acceptance and the courage to be authentic.

The “Superhero” video was directed by Oliver Tree in collaboration with his long-time creative team. His trademark directing style remains a mix of surreal humor, cinematic spectacle, and emotional storytelling. Visually bold and characteristically playful, the video continues the aesthetic evolution seen in his previous works such as “Hurt,” “Life Goes On,” and “Bounce.”

A special highlight in his videography remains the clip for “One & Only,” which was filmed in Belgrade shortly after his concert at Dom omladine on November 11, 2022, part of his European “Cowboy Tears” tour. That video deepened his connection with regional audiences, merging global pop art with the authentic atmosphere of Belgrade’s streets.

With “Superhero,” Oliver Tree confirms once again that he is one of the most unconventional figures in contemporary music — an artist who blurs the lines between comedy and confession, turning every release into a unique audiovisual experience.
