Slovenian band Batista Cadillac and one of the most distinctive voices on the regional music scene, Senidah, have joined forces for “Od Početka”, a contemporary soul duet that brings together the band’s powerful live energy and Senidah’s unmistakable, raspy vocal style.
At the heart of the track are two lead voices, Senidah and Urban Lutman, whose contrasting yet complementary performances tell a story about slowing down, leaving the past behind and learning how to start again.
“Od Početka” is one of the key tracks from Batista Cadillac’s upcoming second album, “II”, marking a new creative chapter for the Slovenian group.
The song was written by Matija Koritnik, Urban Lutman, Anže Kacafura and Senida Hajdarpašić, with production and mixing by Anže Kacafura – Cazzafura and mastering by Simon Penšek.
The accompanying music video, directed by Jan Filip Jordan Frangeš, was filmed in the striking surroundings of the Ljubljana Opera and turns the song into a visually rich, almost theatrical game of pursuit between the two vocal protagonists.
“Od Početka” arrives just ahead of Batista Cadillac’s major concert at Ljubljana’s Križanke on September 17, 2026, where the band will celebrate the release of the new album and introduce its latest creative chapter to the audience.
