Rijeka's singer-songwriter pop-rock scene is richer for a new, striking chapter. The talented pop-rock band Rewind, which is rapidly making its way onto the domestic music scene, has officially presented its third single titled "Ako je istina". The new song comes with a visually attractive video, rounding off a music trilogy in which the band confirms its recognizable authorial expression and more mature musical sound.
After the first two singles that won the sympathy of the audience and radio editors, the song "Ako je istina" brings a striking combination of solid rock riffs, modern pop elements and deeply emotional lyrics. The song speaks about questioning relationships and questions the selflessness of true love, while maintaining the recognizable energy that the Rijeka rock scene has been known for for decades.
The lyrics and music are written by the band's singer and guitarist Pavle Ćosić, while the production is by David Janeš, who is also the band's drummer. The other half of the band consists of Matija Pobran and Fabijan Ban.
The band is also responsible for the modern and radiophonic production in its independent production, and the song also features guest collaborations, Rijeka singer Jelena Jukić Lovrić as backing vocalist and Sinj musician Tonij Domazet on keyboards.
The new single is accompanied by a video shot in the iconic Rijeka bar Skradin on Vodovodna Street, whose technical and artistic realization was done by Zdravko Medek, and which visually rounds out the entire atmosphere of the song, creating a rounded audio-visual whole.
"This song represents a step forward for us and a stylistic shift towards a stronger sound. We worked on it in the studio for a long time and we can't wait to hear the audience's reactions, especially on radio stations that have been supporting us so far," say the members of the Rewind band.
With their third single, these pop-rockers from Rijeka prove that they are not just a passing trend, but a name that the domestic scene can seriously count on. The song "Ako je istina" is available today on all leading streaming services (Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music), while the video can be viewed on the band's official YouTube channel.
