Swiss-Ecuadorian instrumental duo Hermanos Gutiérrez have unveiled "Los Ojos Del Cóndor", the title track from their forthcoming album, due on September 25 via Easy Eye Sound. Following the release of "Canto Andino", brothers Alejandro and Estevan Gutiérrez continue exploring the landscapes, traditions and spiritual heritage of the Andes through their distinctive cinematic guitar sound.
The song is a tribute to the majestic Andean condor, a bird revered across many Indigenous South American cultures as a symbol of strength, wisdom and the connection between the earthly and spiritual worlds. Directed by Robert Schober, the accompanying video beautifully expands on that symbolism, following the brothers across breathtaking mountain landscapes as they carefully carry a single white egg, creating a quietly powerful visual narrative that perfectly complements the song's meditative atmosphere.
Over the past few years, Hermanos Gutiérrez have established themselves as one of contemporary instrumental music's most distinctive acts. Their acclaimed albums El Bueno y el Malo and Sonido Cósmico, both produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, earned international recognition for blending Latin American influences with western soundscapes, surf guitar textures and cinematic storytelling. With Los Ojos Del Cóndor, the duo turns even more deeply toward their South American roots, celebrating the music, culture and spirit of the Andes.
