Darko Rundek, before the concerts in Port of Belgrade, released two live albums

Concerts are planed for June 5 and 6 in the Port of Belgrade, called "Uz reku, za reke" (Along the River, for the Rivers)

The legendary Darko Rundek, who together with the team will hold two concerts on June 5 and 6 in the Port of Belgrade, delighted the audience with new live releases, also recorded in the Serbian capital, before these performances. It is the Rundek Cargo Trio's album "The Last Trio in Belgrade", as well as the release from Rundek and Ekipa "Live from Dom omladine 2024", published by the production company Long Play. Today, these albums appear on digital streaming services, and double vinyls will be ready by the time of the concerts in the Port of Belgrade. In both cases, these are recordings of the last concerts from a series of five performances in seven days at the DOB.

Although the album "The Last Trio in Belgrade" is already known to Rundek's fans, given that it appeared on CD in 2022, it was not available in other forms until now. The 14-song material was recorded in the Great Hall of Dom omladine on March 7, 2019, as part of a series of conceptually different concerts called "Dani Darka Rundeka" in three different spaces of DOB. In addition to Rundek, the trio included violinist Isabel and multi-instrumentalist Dušan Duco Vranić. The last concert of the Rundek Cargo Trio in an acoustic, intimate atmosphere brings a specific selection of songs in 80 minutes. The accent was on the albums from the later phase of his creativity, "Plavi Avion" and "Mostovi".

Rundek and the team's album "Live from Dom omladine 2024", which lasts less than 90 minutes, was recorded at a concert on December 18 of that year, when the finale of a series of five sold-out performances in a row took place in the Great Hall, in specific social circumstances. Rundek states: "When we went on tour in Serbia at the end of November 2024, we were faced with a big question - how to deal with the fall of the canopy in Novi Sad and clearly stand on the side of those who demanded a just punishment for the guilty".

Darko accepted the idea of his partner Sanda Hržić.

"She suggested that we start the concerts with 15 bells for then 15 more victims and dedicate the song 'Znak' to them. This united us with the audience and gave the concerts a character of solemnity and togetherness. This album is listened to as a recording of the concert and as a record of unique energy and emotions in that extraordinary moment".

These two live albums represent the best possible announcement before the Rundek and Ekipa concerts on June 5 and 6 in the Port of Belgrade, called "Uz reku, za reke". The occasion is 41 years since the release of the famous, third album of the Haustor group, "Bolero" (1985). Together with Darko and the team, members of Haustor from that period will appear on stage: Zoran Zajec Zexa (guitar, backing vocals) and Damir Prica Capri (tenor and soprano sax, keyboards). It was on the album "Bolero" that trumpeter Igor Pavlica collaborated with Rundek for the first time, Darko's "right-hand man" and indispensable member of the Ekipa (Team) for a long time.
