Band Goran Glad presents video for song “Grijehožderi”

Goran Glad presents video for song “Grijehožderi”, third single from debut album Izutetan život. The video was created by art director Nespy5euro and animator Debora Panaccione, an author duo who also worked on nine videos for Flea’s album Honora this year.

Zagreb band Goran Glad has released a video for “Grijehoždere”, third single from debut album Izutetan život released in October last year. Considering that they directed the previous two videos for singles “Minnesota-Minsk” and “Slobodan dan” independently, this video marks an important collaboration between the band that began in January 2026.

Art director Nespy5euro and animator Debora Panaccione, in collaboration with the band Goran Glad, developed the concept of the video over several months of collaboration through conversations, exchange of references from visual arts and numerous sketches. Combining analog and digital techniques, collage, photography, and animation, the authors successfully conveyed the atmosphere of the song using the metaphor of growth through feeding, directly referring to the song's title.

The authors described the process of making the video: The video was created through an initial exchange of ideas with the band, during which we shaped a visual concept through a series of conversations and joint reflections that could convey the gradually growing energy of the song. From these conversations emerged the idea of a dark entity that is constantly expanding – a black mass resembling a living organism or a black hole, which devours everything in its path.

The entire visual story follows the journey of this presence through a series of different spaces, which are connected by continuous transitions from one environment to another. Each transition opens up a new visual dimension: the viewer immerses himself in a dark mass, from which he then emerges in a completely different environment. Thus, an uninterrupted sequence is created in which the boundaries between spaces disappear, and constant transformation becomes the driving force of the entire video.

This year, Nespy5euro and Debora Panaccione also created nine videos for Flea's album Honora, including songs featuring Nick Cave, Thom Yorke, Warren Ellis, John Frusciante, Chad Smith and others. They have previously collaborated with numerous artists including Sean Lennon, Metz, Viagra Boys and Tropical Fuck Storm.

Nespy and Debora, as true professionals, did a great job interpreting the song, and if in this case it was even possible to interpret the song literally, they definitely did not. They added a new layer with their own reading, which is exactly what we are looking forward to the most. We found ourselves in the right place at the right time and working with them was fun, interesting and educational. It's a bit crazy that in such a busy release schedule this year alone, they found time for us - the band said with the release of the video.

The video for the song "Grijehožderi" is available on YouTube, while the song can be listened to on all streaming services.
