IDEM Releases New Single and Video “Ponekad Ponekad Ponekad”

The third album is expected in 2027 – and judging by IDEM’s own warning, we should get ready for something that will be, in his words, “PRELOŠE" (REALLY BAD)

Antun Aleksa, better known as IDEM and one of the members of Zagreb’s Jeboton collective, has released “Ponekad Ponekad Ponekad”, the first single from his upcoming third album, which he describes as his first proper studio album.

The new song was born as a reflection on a “difficult year full of rocket-like highs and steep falls”, yet IDEM manages to turn that experience into something warm, energetic and surprisingly hopeful, a reminder that perhaps we can all be a little better.

“Now that we know the news is only going to get worse, we’ll get through it easily,” he jokes in typically IDEM fashion, while “Ponekad Ponekad Ponekad” balances melancholy, humor and infectious energy in a way that makes it instantly likeable.

The song was created by Antun Aleksa, with arrangements and performances by Vlado Remeš, Marin Tandara, Ivan Cimi Marinović, Marko Marinović and Aleksa himself, while Leonard Klaić handled the mix and mastering.

The accompanying video was once again filmed, edited and produced by Pavle Kocanjer, with additional handycam footage by Iza Alibegić and BTS footage by Mario Gregov. Featuring the IDEM gang and a whole cast of friends and collaborators, the video perfectly complements the song’s warm, playful and slightly chaotic spirit.

“Ponekad Ponekad Ponekad” is now available on all major streaming platforms, while IDEM is also gearing up for a concert at Zagreb’s Šalata.

The third album is expected in 2027 – and judging by IDEM’s own warning, we should get ready for something that will be, in his words, “PRELOŠE" (REALLY BAD).
