Belgrade singer-songwriter Jelena Petošević joins forces with Ljubljana indie-rock trio Lelee on the new single and video “Igra bela mečka,” released on March 13 via Moonlee Records.
The song delivers a powerful ecological message, addressing climate change and humanity’s destructive relationship with nature. Its title references a once common practice in which trained bears were chained and forced to “dance” as travelling street attractions – a cruel exploitation of animals such as the Brown Bear.
In the song, this disturbing image becomes a metaphor for a wider reality in which nature and wildlife are treated as expendable, while the consequences of human neglect increasingly manifest through the global climate crisis. Petošević’s expressive vocal delivery blends with Lelee’s guitar-driven indie sound to create a tense and haunting atmosphere that carries a strong sense of warning.

The accompanying AI-assisted video further amplifies the message through symbolic imagery that evokes a fragile world pushed toward ecological collapse.
Music and arrangements are by Jelena Petošević and Lelee, while the lyrics were written by Jelena Petošević and Dragan Urošević. The track was recorded, produced and mixed by Robi Bulešić at BearTracks Studio in January 2026, with mastering by Carl Saff in February.
The release was accompanied by a short run of joint shows: March 13 at Sprat in Belgrade and March 14 at JMS Club in Subotica.
