Slovenian guitar indie-rock trio Lelee presents the new single "Da živim" (Moonlee Records), announcing the release of a new album in 2027. Lelee's latest single is a story about moving, leaving and living in different places. How can you get lost somewhere between all those cities, streets, languages, people and memories and suddenly you don't quite know who you are, where you come from and where you belong. There is no clear answer. We learn to live with what we know and what we will probably never know. How to live with your past, with others and, perhaps most difficult, with yourself.
"Da živim" opens a new chapter in Lelee's musical creativity. In addition to the fresh energy brought by Miha Konrad behind the drums in the last year, the band (Jelena Rusjan - bass and Damjan Manevski - guitar) indulges even more in its recognizable interweaving of playful melodies and rhythms on the latest single. The song is dominated by an infectious guitar line that twists elusively through motifs that elude us, which is very well complemented by fierce bass parts, playful percussion and an anthemic chorus. The song is fluffy enough to draw us into its world, yet restless enough to keep searching for something beneath the surface.

The video, which is entirely composed of photographs, was made by Edin Suljić as part of his master's thesis at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana. In it, the author investigates how the viewer of a music video turns from a passive observer into an active participant.
Lelee is currently one of the most vital names in the regional alternative guitar scene. With two released albums and more than 100 concerts played, they have deeply etched themselves into the consciousness of the indie audience throughout the Balkans.
Their songs, full of energy and élan, exude a refined sense for catchy choruses and melodies that stay with you for a long time. Next week Lelee will travel to Norway, where they will perform at the Tromsø World and Molde Mundo festivals.
At the beginning of 2027, a ten-day European tour awaits them, during which they will also perform at the largest European showcase festival ESNS in Groningen.
