Thirteen years after releasing the video for “Rock’n’roll Revolution No. 5”, Zagreb-based Erotic Biljan & His Heretics remain true to their loud, raw and uncompromising rock’n’roll. In the meantime, the band has further strengthened its reputation as a formidable live act and released its fourth studio album, “Practical Sinners”, this year via Menart.
Active since 1998, the band is known for a distinctive blend of ’60s garage rock, proto-punk and gritty, high-energy rock’n’roll. The ten tracks on the new album carry that tradition forward, without unnecessary polish or any departure from the band’s original spirit. The album was recorded at Studio Radost, with vocals recorded and the final mix completed at PodRoom Studio. Mastering was handled by Pavle Miholjević, while guest musicians include Toni Starešinić on Hammond organ and piano, and Željka Veverec on backing vocals.
A direct link to the new album is the single “P-p-p-punch”, released in November 2025. The track introduced the album and explores the resilience needed to withstand the daily blows of life. Its accompanying video features Martina Validžić as La Calavera Catrina, with direction and editing by mario&nevio.
Meanwhile, the video for “Rock’n’roll Revolution No. 5” takes us back to the band’s live history, reminding us of its enduring connection with the stage. Together, the old concert footage and the new album mark two chapters of the same story: a band that has been playing rock’n’roll on its own terms for nearly three decades.

The band’s current live schedule also includes a show announced for October 28 at Zagreb’s Hard Place, where Erotic Biljan & His Heretics are set to appear as special guests for American musician Pat Todd and his band, The Rankoutsiders.
“Practical Sinners” is available on digital music platforms and on vinyl.
