Matija Cvek releases a new single "I'm not the one", a song that went a long and interesting way to its final release.
"We've been looking for the right solution for 'I'm not the one' for a long time. Over the years, the song has come full circle, passed through various demo editions, and finally returned home," reveals Matija.
Fun, bandy, sassy and danceable, "Nisam taj" brings Mattia in a more playful and energetic version, with a chorus that quickly gets under the skin. Although the title says "I'm not the one", Matija admits that he is completely connected with this song.
"I hope the audience and the airwaves will love it. The song is home. It's called 'I'm not the one', but I'm completely hers and she's mine," says Matija.
With the new single, Matija continues to build a recognizable author's and performer's path, remaining faithful to the emotion, the band's sound and the songs that the audience feels right from the first listen.
The single "Nisam taj" is released ahead of numerous upcoming concerts by Matija Cvek and The Funkensteins, among which the big solo concert in Arena Zagreb on November 28, 2026 stands out.
