With the publication of the last 30 nominated works, this year's selection of MVA - Muzzik Video Awards for five generations has ended. All 210 music videos in 21 categories are now in front of the audience, which represent an exciting cross-section of contemporary music and video production in Southeast Europe.
The final round brings three particularly attractive categories: Indie, Best Video and Main Role. Three different views of the music video - from the independent scene and the author's experiment, through the most complete video creations, to the performers and actors whose presence in front of the camera carries the whole story.
The audience can watch the nominated videos, compare favorites and vote on the official platform mva5g.muzzik.tv. Voting in all categories is open until September 15, 2026.
INDIE - freedom of sound and image
The indie category belongs to authors and performers who do not conform music and video to predetermined patterns. It combines alternative pop and rock, electronics, singer-songwriter sensibility and various forms of visual experimentation.
This year's ten nominations confirm that the independent scene of the region is not one genre, but a space of authorial freedom - from intimate and minimalist works to powerful band performances, unusual characters and bold visual concepts.

BEST VIDEO – central MVA category
The best video is the central category of the Muzzik Video Awards – the place where music, direction, camera, editing, scenography, art direction and performance energy come together in a complete audiovisual work.
The final selection included videos of different genres and poetics: from film and conceptual creations to satire, humor, striking stylization and contemporary visual spectacle. What they have in common is that they do not accompany the song only with a picture, but give it new life, meaning and character.

MAIN ROLE – the face we remember
A good music video is often remembered by the person who guides us through his world. The Main role category is dedicated to performers, actors and striking protagonists whose interpretation, movement, gesture or mere presence in front of the camera become the emotional and narrative center of the video.
The main character is not just the face of the song. He can be the hero of a short film, the bearer of the atmosphere, a comic character or a silent figure who conveys the whole story without many words.

21 categories for five generations
The fifth edition of the Muzzik Video Awards brings 210 nominations and 21 Muzzik guitars for the best music videos from Southeast Europe. The selection connects authors and audiences of different generations - from boomers and generation X, through millennials and generation Z, to the youngest alphas.
In addition to the main awards for Best Music Video and New Artist Video, the MVA awards professional awards for direction, cinematography, editing and visual effects, choreography, animation, art direction and lead actor. The genre categories bring a cross-section of the current regional scene - from pop, rock, indie, hip-hop, R&B and electronic music to the categories Balkan Beat, Covers, Funky Groove, Comedy, Zajedno and Video with a message.
Muzzik Video Awards is realized in the joint production of music televisions MUZZIK TV and CMC TV, with the support of partner media from the entire region.
