Globally popular girl group KATSEYE have unveiled their new single 'PINKY UP'. The energetic and daring song continues to build the band's signature sound: confident, playful and aimed at pushing the boundaries of pop. With a strong beat, an infectious bass line and a modern synth sound, "PINKY UP" celebrates life without brakes.
The music video, directed by Bardija Zeinali, transforms everyday spaces into a world ruled by KATSEYE, where self-confidence, acceptance and freedom of expression come to the fore. The video premiered on MTV Live, MTV and on billboards in Times Square.
KATSEYE premiered their new single this weekend at Coachella, along with their hits 'Debut', 'Mean Girls', 'Touch', 'Gameboy', 'Internet Girl', 'Gabriela', 'My Way', 'M.I.A' and 'Gnarly'. They surprised the audience by bringing the female singers behind the fictitious group HUNTR/X from the "KPop Demon Hunters" project to the stage, and the highlight was the performance with the song "Golden", a megahit that made history earlier this year as the first K-pop song to win both a GRAMMY and an Oscar. In this unexpected joint performance, the girls were joined by EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI – the voices behind the fictional trio from the hit Netflix movie.

After Coachella, KATSEYE will also perform at the Head In The Clouds, Hinterland and Governors Ball festivals this year. Their first tour, held on the occasion of the "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS" EP, was completely sold out.
The band KATSEYE was recently nominated for two GRAMMY awards, and their performance attracted a lot of media and audience attention. They also appeared on Jimmy Fallon's show, where they additionally presented their work to a wider audience. They were also included in the Washington Post's "Post Next: 50 People Shaping Our Society in 2026" list, while Vogue covered the phenomenon of their immense popularity in its April issue. New York Magazine (The Cut) brought a cover story that follows 36 hours in the life of the members, and the group was also nominated for a GLAAD Media Award in the category of Outstanding New Music Artist.
KATSEYE consists of six members from different parts of the world (Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia and Yoonchae) who together bring an international perspective to contemporary pop. The group gained global recognition and was ranked among the most searched musicians in the US according to Google 2025, while TikTok named them the global artist of the year.
