After conquering the Stožice arena, all the most important stages in the region and a number of music arenas across Europe, Joker Out, the most sought-after Slovenian band of the generation, is preparing Carnival, its biggest concert spectacle to date, for Saturday, June 20 at Kardeljev plateau in Ljubljana!
"On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Joker Out, we want to offer our audience a concert that has never been seen before in our country and that we have never experienced ourselves. In Ljubljana, we will organize a real musical Carnival under the stars. The inspiration for it was the line: 'Vableni vsi na karneval / Pozivamo sve na karneval' from our hit Novi val. We live in times when we are bombarded with bad news from all sides, and carnival brings positive messages, love, the idea of peace for all people, brotherhood and unity, something that our society desperately needs" - announce the Jokers.
The doors will open on June 20 at 3 pm, with carnival activities and games, DJs and food trucks, a hundred circus performers, workshops such as learning to hula hoop, silk dancing, juggling, face painting, karaoke... The musical part will be opened by the group Alter Ace, followed by Käärijä with their energetic band. At sunset, Joker Out, dancers, circus performers and other artists will take the stage, including the collaborator from the current hit Supersonic, regional superstar Devito: "It will be a very special concert that you must not miss - it will only happen once and never again", say the Jokers, who can't wait to get together with the beginning of the festival summer.
In Denis Avdić's popular morning show, Joker Out said that this spectacle will cost them around one million euros, and that they spent all their savings on it, and borrowed some money.

The fact that Carneval will be a very special concert experience, the likes of which we have never experienced before, is also confirmed by the renderings of the concert, which Jokeri revealed on social networks. The reactions of concertgoers are very positive, and the common thread is that everything is reminiscent of large European summer festivals, where the selected musical program is combined with rich technical production, special effects, magnificent, purpose-built stages and dynamic performances by dancers, acrobats and other attractive performers.
Such productions affect all the senses at the same time and give the visitor a sense of multimedia experience. "Since we have set Carnival as the beginning of the festival summer, we also want to visually provide the audience with a feeling of escape from the crazy world into the world of imagination, carefreeness and celebration. We also love visiting such events, where it always takes your breath away a little when you enter the space and feel that an unforgettable experience awaits you. We want to share that with our fans in our city at least once," said the band members.
Almost a fifth of the tickets for Carnival were purchased by fans from outside our region. They will fly to Ljubljana from 48 countries around the world, including the USA, Canada, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, Kazakhstan, Japan and Malaysia. Hundreds of Finns, Poles, Germans, Austrians, Brits and Scandinavians will also dance under the stars at the Carnival in the middle of the city.
The carnival is heralded by the shagadelic anthem of the upcoming festival summer, "Odsevi sonca", which follows the hit "Supersonic", in which Joker Out joined forces with Serbian star Devit: "It is inspired by the general positive atmosphere that reigns among us in the band and our friends, although it seems to us that the situation in the world, as long as we are alive, has never been this bad. This is a positive song, inspired by the feeling that we, people who spread good energy, are eternal and that this energy will spread and make the world more beautiful. We are the sun for each other and we reflect the light that can never die as long as it is reflected among us", summarizes the inspiration for the text and its message, the main author and frontman of the band Bojan Cvjetićanin.
