Horovi pobedjuju (Choirs Win): Great choral evening in the Botanical Garden

On Friday, June 12, from 7:30 p.m., the Botanical Garden will host a special choir festival that will bring together some of the most interesting vocal ensembles of the domestic scene in one place. The evening is led by Viva Vox, an ensemble that the Belgrade audience already knows well through big concerts in the Arena and Sava Center.

With more than 250 performances throughout Europe and the world, Viva Vox have long since become one of the most recognizable local choirs, known for their energetic and unusual performances that rarely leave the audience indifferent.

Res Miranda is a unique female vocal group from Novi Sad that has been performing artistic compositions from different eras in an authentic way for more than a decade, in the country and abroad.

Horkestar has existed for a quarter of a century and through music erases the boundaries between different genres and ideas. Their repertoire includes workers' and revolutionary songs, works by local poets and philosophers, punk and rock'n'roll classics, children's and original compositions by choir members. Horkestar sings to hear what is often silenced - freedom, equality and the power of a common voice.

Juvenile Viva Vox choir - JukeVox - represents a unique a cappella choir of children and young people aged 10 to 18. Their mission is to inspire young people to find joy in music, develop their talents and create deeper connections and new experiences through singing together.

The gate from Ulica Vojvode Dobrnjca opens at 7 p.m., and the festival starts at 7:30 p.m.
