In three years of existence, Ranr has become one of the most recognizable, most penetrating and most exciting groups of the new wave of the Slovenian music scene. The heart of the group is the creative synergy of the charismatic singer Neli Lalovič (the author of most of the lyrics, who, among other things, answered the interview) and top musicians: Dominik Širovnik on guitar, Tadej Klojčnik on bass, Marko Matjašič on keyboards and Marko Beret on drums.
They are not interested in genre restrictions - with a bold mix of rhythms and influences, they build a colorful and modern musical mosaic in which indie pop, soul, R&B, hip hop and alt rock are intertwined.

With original and surprisingly current texts, they touch on the burning dilemmas of modern times and subtly explore the boundaries between inner experience and the outer world. They had a series of notable and sold-out performances: at the Šiška Cinema, at Križanke as part of Festival 202, at the legendary Ftrgatva, at the crowded Main Square in Maribor and at the Jazz Club Ljubljanski grad.
This year, at the 45th Melodies of the Sea and the Sun festival, 14 performers will perform in the competition program, including the Slovenian group Ranr, who will sing the song Waves on stage. The music and text for it were created by Neli Lalović, Marko Bera, Dominik Širovnik, Marko Matjašič and Tadej Klojčnik. (info taken from the site: Eurovision dot com)
The music video for this song is by Ema Širec, and Dallas Records is behind the project.
