One of the most important singer-songwriters and rock authors from this area, Mile Kekin, on the wings of the single "Marko nogomet" and the upcoming new album, is returning to Niš!
On Saturday, September 26, he will hold a concert on the summer stage of the Istina Mašina club, where he will take the audience through more than three decades of a musical career filled with hits that marked an era, as well as songs from the new album.
The pre-sale price of tickets is 2,000 dinars and can be purchased through Hengtime web, while on the day of the concert, if there are any left, they will cost 2,300 dinars.

Born in Germany and musically raised in Zagreb, Mile Kekin founded Hladno pivo together with Zoran Subošić in 1987, a band that would become one of the most important names on the regional rock scene over the next 35 years.

With Hladno pivo, he released eight studio albums and wrote a number of songs that are now an indispensable part of domestic music history. After the end of the band's work in 2022, he begins a new author's chapter and continues to perform under his own name, maintaining the recognizable sincerity, humor and sharpness of his lyrics.
During his career, he wrote about 150 songs, tried his hand as an actor and synchronist, and remains one of the few authors who works equally convincingly in front of festival audiences and in intimate concert spaces. He says that he has been writing songs since his teenage days "to stay normal", and it is his life stories, everyday life and the people around him that are still the biggest inspiration for his lyrics.
He is accompanied on stage by a band made up of musicians with whom he has been building his distinctive concert sound in recent years. Mark Mrakovčić, producer and multi-instrumentalist who "plays everything and conducts the band", is one of the key collaborators of his independent work. He is joined by Andrija Lazo, whom Kekin describes as "our man for everything and more than that", Josip Šustić, "a combination of bass, stature and voice", as well as drummer Mario Petrinjak, whom he says in his distinctive style "just bangs, shakes, hits".
It is this line-up that is responsible for the concert sound that has been conquering audiences throughout the region in recent years, as the audience at Istina Mašina club will certainly see for themselves on September 26.
