After a successful Eurovision year, the group LELEK presents a new single “Syenke”, created in collaboration with the Ukrainian band Go_A and the musical duo Nazar & Qobzar. It is a project that combines two Slavic musical traditions and shows how folklore heritage can sound contemporary and close to new generations.
Since its inception, LELEK has been building a recognizable musical identity on the combination of traditional motifs and modern pop sound. That is why the collaboration with the band Go_A acts as a natural continuation of their path. The Ukrainian band is one of the most successful European examples of the modernization of folklore music, and it gained international recognition with a unique blend of electronic production and traditional Ukrainian musical elements. LELEK and Go_A are connected by a similar artistic sensibility and a common idea of further popularizing ethno aesthetics in modern production.
The result of their collaboration is the song "Syenke", which through strong production, polyphony and traditional instruments connects Croatian and Ukrainian heritage into a unique musical story. The music for "Syenke" is jointly signed by MARIN and Ukrainian musician Taras Shevchenko, who is also responsible for the arrangement of the song, while the lyrics were written by Tomislav Roso. The sound of the sopilka, a traditional Ukrainian wind instrument played by Nazar Lekh, gives the composition a special authenticity.

Thematically, the song speaks of perseverance and faith in one's own path despite external pressures and doubts. "Syenke" reminds us that every beginning brings challenges, but also that perseverance allows us to emerge stronger from them.
The new single comes after an exceptionally successful year for LELEK. The group first attracted attention with reinterpretations of traditional motifs, then won over the audience at the Dora, and then represented Croatia at the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest. In less than two years, they have become one of the most recognizable new names on the regional music scene, confirming that the audience recognizes authenticity and bold musical breakthroughs.
The audience will have the opportunity to hear the song live for the first time at this year's Melodies of the Adriatic in Split, where the members of LELEKA will be joined on stage by the Ukrainian duo Nazar & Qobzar, further emphasizing the international character of the project.
The video for "Syenke" was filmed at the location Đurđevački pijesci, a unique protected natural area also known as the "Croatian Sahara", whose impressive landscape served as a visual backdrop to the story of the meeting of tradition, nature and contemporary musical expression.
