Bear Stone Festival continues its mission of showcasing the regional independent music scene, and this year invites Purpurne Bašte, one of Osijek’s most exciting underground collectives.
On Saturday, July 4th, Purpurne Bašte takes over the festival’s Mill Stage with a curated showcase featuring Vodenkonj, Layka, Badel-Bager and Čuvarkuća, introducing the festival audience to a vibrant new wave coming from eastern Croatia.

Rooted in Osijek’s DIY and alternative scene, the Purpurne Bašte collective acts as a creative platform connecting musicians, visual artists and independent cultural workers. Through collaborations, releases and grassroots events, the collective has become an important catalyst for a new generation of artists whose work blurs the boundaries between indie rock, post-punk, experimental pop and contemporary alternative music.
Their collaboration with Bear Stone Festival represents a shared commitment to independent culture, artistic authenticity and creating space for new voices outside the mainstream.
