Infernal Storm is a Greek black metal band founded in 2020 in Kozani. Their sound combines the raw aggressiveness of black metal with dark, atmospheric production and elements of traditional Greek black metal expression. The band debuted with the EP release "On Thorns Ov Hell" (2021), followed by the releases "XVII.IV.XX" (2022) and "Winter of the Ancient Wrath" (2026). Thematically they deal with darkness, occult motifs and the power of nature, and among their musical influences stand out the greats of the Greek scene such as Rotting Christ, as well as Emperor and Dissection. With their uncompromising approach and combination of cold aggressiveness and dark atmosphere, Infernal Storm represent a new generation of Greek black metal.

Rotting Christ was founded by the brothers Sakis and Themis Tolis in Athens in 1987, and from the original death/grind roots they soon moved towards a darker sound that would make them one of the pioneers of the Greek black metal scene. Following the cult EP "Passage to Arcturo" in 1991, the debut album Thy Mighty Contract in 1993 laid the foundation for a sound that would strongly influence generations of extreme metal bands. A year later, "Non Serviam" followed, an album whose title has become a kind of life and artistic motto of the band.

During the nineties and early 2000s, Rotting Christ did not remain trapped within the boundaries of black metal, but gradually introduced elements of death, heavy and gothic metal into their sound, while maintaining a distinctive dark atmosphere. The current studio album "Pro Xristou", released in 2024, is a new chapter in their impressive discography and another combination of monumental riffs, melody, ritual atmosphere and Sakis' distinctive vocals. It was inspired by the last pagan rulers who resisted the spread of Christianity and the disappearance of ancient traditions, and on it the band continues to develop the sound it has been building for more than three and a half decades. In the almost 40 years of Rotting Christ's existence, they have toured practically the entire world and have long outgrown the genre from which they originated. The heart of the band has been the brothers Sakis Tolis on vocals and guitar and Themis Tolis on drums, while today's line-up is completed by Kostas "Spades" Heliotis and Kostis Foukarakis. Their concerts have earned them a reputation as one of the most reliable and intense live bands of the extreme metal scene.

A day later, on Sunday, November 22, Hangtime organizes a Rotting Christ concert in Zagreb's Boogaloo.
