Troye Sivan brings pop culture back to the dance floor: Madonna in the song, Ian McKellen in the video

His fourth studio album "She's the Best" arrives on October 9

GRAMMY-nominated global pop star, singer-songwriter and creative force Troye Sivan returns with "Party," a hypnotic and euphoric ode to total indulgence on a really good night out. The single will be featured on his fourth studio album, She's the Best, out October 9 via Interscope Records (Universal Music Group).

Inspired by the cyclical rhythm of a weekend spent moving from place to place, Sivan wanted the song "Party" to convey the feeling of a never-ending night, continuing from one location to the next, with no real beginning or end. The track was inspired by the outdoor bush doof raves he attended growing up in Melbourne, as well as the euphoria of listening to dance music right where it belongs - on the dance floor.

"Dance music sounds very different on the dance floor than when it's coming from a laptop speaker. The repetition becomes almost hypnotic and I wanted to play with the structure of the song in that way," says Sivan.

The song features a sample from Madonna's cult hit "Music" from 2000, while "Party" was created by a team of collaborators consisting of Luka Kloser, Elvira Anderfjärd, Tove Burman, Leland, Tyde Levi, Rob Feher and Styalz Fuego.
The album "She's the Best" will be released on October 9, 2026 on Interscope Records (Universal Music Group).
