Senkina Đeca is a Montenegrin band that for more than fifteen years has been building a path through a live concert and a constant exploration of sound. Born out of friendship and love for music, the band has built a recognizable energy on the scene over the years.
Senkina Đeca is made up of professional musicians whose sound comes from a combination of different experiences, influences and sensibilities, which is why they do not adhere to strict genre frameworks. Each new song represents an opportunity to explore a different musical space, keeping what defines them the most: emotion, the energy of making music together and a sincere approach to music.
With the single "Boje", the band opens a new chapter of their love. This is not just the presentation of a new song, but also the beginning of a journey on which they want to offer the audience music that bears their distinctive stamp and authentic expression.
"Senka was born about fifteen years ago from the desire to devote ourselves to what we love. Through different phases and situations, many performances behind us, we matured and tried to learn from each other. As a band that has been performing other people's music for a long time, over time the need arose to contribute something that would be our personal expression. The sound in the song is based on the band's organic blues playing. The song "Boje" was written by our colleague Luna Kostadinović. When we heard the demo recording, we immediately recognized the emotion, the message and the direction that is close to us. Through mutual love, arrangement and interpretation, the song got its final form and our imprint," said Dejan Ljujić, frontman of the band.
