"Čegi i braća bluz bend" released a new digital single "Dosadna pesma" (PGP RTS), inspired by everyday situations we all recognize - moments when someone's presence and energy can break the usual, often monotonous everyday life and make everything suddenly seem easier, more beautiful and more interesting.
The single "Dosadna pesma" is accompanied by an unusual video clip, premiered today. As the frontman of the band, Stefan Čeganjac, points out, the composition was born from the desire to describe a universal experience, which many people recognize.
"We are talking about that special person who, in the most positive sense, "shakes" you and "destroys" your previous world, which instantly becomes more interesting... The main message is the search for someone who moves you, someone who makes us a better person and someone with whom the interaction is so dynamic and inspiring that your day, and even life, can never be boring again...", explains Stefan.
In addition to the catchy melody and recognizable sound of the band, the video for "Dosadna pesma" also attracts special attention, which is characterized by an unusual and humorous visual approach.
"We wanted to go a step further, to make the visual identity of our new video completely different and more interesting than classic "love videos". We wanted to show that contrast between an ordinary, monotonous day in which nothing seems to happen at all and the moment when in that day of ours, in our life - that right person appears and because of her - everything suddenly "explodes", "blooms" in the most beautiful way... with energy, mood and colors..."
With this release, "Čegi i braća bluz bend" continue to build their authentic and recognizable musical expression. Over the years, they have gained a reputation as a band that successfully combines different musical styles and erases genre boundaries. Foreign hits, rock'n'roll, heavy metal, schlagers, sevdalinka, as well as legendary big hits of our folk music, suitable for audiences of all generations, can be heard at their performances.
Although they often perform and have a busy concert schedule, they do not slow down when it comes to their original work. On the contrary, they are currently creating compositions for as many as two new studio albums. One will be dedicated to their unique covers of well-known songs, while the other will immortalize their new original music material.
"The new songs carry mature energy, excellent lyrics and arrangements that we put a lot of effort into, so we can't wait for the audience to hear what we cooked up in our studio," says Stefan Čeganjac.
As they announce, the band has "the most intense year so far". The audience can expect new singles, music videos and even two new albums. And as a crown of all the upcoming and previous activities - a big solo concert is planned in Belgrade at the end of the year.
Therefore, "Dosadna pesma" represents only a part of the announcement of everything interesting, very noteworthy and different, which "Čegi i braća bluz bend" are, but also everything that will be presented to us: an energetic sound, a recognizable emotion and a close reminder to everyone that sometimes just one nice, pleasant meeting or just one real, benevolent and inspiring person can change for the better, beautify, brighten up - our day, the experience of the world, and even life...
