KOIKOI in the selection with the biggest names of the world music industry and the absolute winner of the regional RUNDA awards
After the big Belgrade concert in the sold-out Hangar, the regional indie rock sensation KOIKOI continues its rise on the international scene. The music video for the song "Ti imaš mir", from the current album "O sreći u snovni", entered the official selection of two major European music video festivals, confirming the moment of the band's complete internationalization. KOIKOI also confirmed its status as a leader of the regional scene by winning two key RUNDA awards – for Best Album and Best Artist of the Year.
At the London Music Video Awards, the video was nominated in two key categories - Best Music Video and Best Cinematography. In the race for the awards, KOIKOI is in the company of big international names such as Snoop Dogg, Jack White, Stromae, Paul Kalkbrenner, Pendulum and Au/Ra.
Confirmation of global quality also comes from Germany, where the video was included in the prestigious Silver Screening program within the Berlin Music Video Awards. The competition categories of this festival include currently the biggest world stars such as Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, Rosalía, Doje Cat, KATSEYE, DJ Snake, A$AP Rocky, Raya and Travis Scott.
The music video for the song "Ti imaš mir" is directed by Ivan Stojiljković, the director of photography is Džejlan Ibrahimović, and the producer is Vukota Antunović (Beef Production). Stojiljković points out that this success is proof that the author's attitude can match million-dollar productions:
"The video was created as an independent project, from the need to carry out the idea to the end without compromise, in conditions that relied more on energy, trust and joint work than on the budget. The process was intense and often on the edge of feasibility, but that was precisely where its strength lay. That's why this nomination means something special to us. We are in competition with works behind large systems, serious production conditions and many times larger budgets. This selection is not just recognition for one video, but a confirmation that idea, approach and author's attitude are still important and relevant on a global level. We are proud of the entire team that stood behind this project and that, without hesitation, gave the maximum to realize this vision. This is the result of shared enthusiasm and belief that something that communicates clearly and strongly can be made even from limitations," said Stojiljković.

For the members of the band KOIKOI, the success of the video is inseparable from their broader vision of connecting artists:
"The album 'O sreći u snovine' marked a new stage in the band's creativity and work, in which we founded KoiKolectiv - a platform where we nurture the community and support the creativity of other authors. The recording of the video 'Ti imaš mir' was a big step forward, and we are extremely glad that our music and visual identity now stand on an equal footing with world productions and enter the programs of international festivals. After the Belgrade concert at the Hangar, where we showed that local production can be at the top level, side by side with foreign countries and to focus on the community with which we cooperate, these nominations are a confirmation that we are on the right path", the band said.
KOIKOI absolute winners of the RUNDA regional music award
In parallel with global successes, KOIKOI confirmed its status as a leader of the regional scene at the RUNDA Regional Music Award in Belgrade. In the competition of over 60 artists and 50 releases, KOIKOI received two awards - it was declared the Best Artist of the Year, while the current album "O sreći u snovino", released for KoiKolektiv Records, was declared the Best Album of the Year. These awards, decided by a jury of 94 professionals and journalists from all over the region, confirm that KOIKOI is currently the most relevant name in the regional independent scene.
