Damir Avdić's Otac (Father) is powerful introduction into the new album

The first album promotion performance will be in Zagreb's Vintage Industrial Bar on April 15

After a four-year break since the last studio achievement "Mainstream Horror", the uncompromising artist Damir Avdic returns to the stage with a new album chapter prepared for the spring/summer season of 2026.

The return was made official with the release of the single called "Otac" (Father), which serves as a direct introduction to what the audience can expect from this authentic musician.

The new song "Otac" brings Avdić's recognizable energy, the raw sound of the guitar and lyrics that cut deeply into questions of origin, identity and personal history. Through verse images of Dinaric karst, stone and sage, the author examines the roots of his DNA, bringing an emotional and sharp reflection on the past and present.

An accompanying video directed by Špela Ambrož was recorded for this song. The visual identity of the song follows the strong message of the text, further emphasizing Avdić's specific expression, which has captured the attention of critics and audiences throughout the region for years.

Although four years have passed since the previous album, Avdic says that "horror is still mainstream", remaining consistent with his social criticism and stripped-down expression.

A new album called "Sve je u redu" (Everything is fine) will appear today on Avdić's "Bandcamp" profile, which continues the series of successful projects released for the publishing house "Moonlee Records". Ajdin Bašić is responsible for the cover design.
