Musician and composer drumattic, in cooperation with singer-songwriter MISH, released a new video single "Iznad grada". It is the fourth single from the upcoming album, released on Glitch Records.
The song brings together an alternative synth pop sound and an intimate, nocturnal atmosphere, relying on emotive vocals and carefully crafted production. Through text and interpretation, "Above the City" talks about closeness, trust and the moment when two people stand out from reality and find their own space.
"I wanted to combine the energy of the city and the intimacy of relationships into an atmosphere that will be felt more than explained," says drumattic.
The collaboration with MISH arose out of the desire to bring a different energy and authentic vocals to the song, which can convey an emotional narrative. MISH signs the lyrics and vocal interpretation, while drumattic is behind the music, production and complete sound identity of the song.
Aleksa Nenadović also appears as a guest on guitar, who further enriches the sound and atmosphere of the song.
The video, directed by drumattic, relies on the night atmosphere and aesthetics of urban space, following the sensibility of the song itself and emphasizing its emotional and visual identity.
