Rambo Amadeus & Elvis Sršen Drop “Odma i Sad,” A Groove-Filled Take on Urgency Culture

Rambo Amadeus, a cult artist across the former Yugoslav region, widely known for his sharp satire and genre-blending approach, joins forces with Croatian artist and producer Elvis Sršen on the new single and video “Odma i Sad”.

Sršen, who composed, produced, and shaped the track’s sonic identity, builds a smooth, groove-driven foundation led by electric piano, while Rambo Amadeus adds his signature vocal delivery and lyrical wit. Co-written by both artists, the song playfully yet incisively reflects on modern society’s obsession with immediacy, the constant demand for everything to happen “right here, right now.”

The arrangement is also a joint effort, and the track was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Sršen at Purple Cloud Studio. A strong lineup of musicians contributes to the rich, organic sound: Vojno Dizdar (Hammond organ), Saša Ranković (drums), Miroslav Tovirac (bass), Oliver Ereš (saxophone), and Zvonimir Bajević (trumpet), bringing subtle jazz and funk textures into the mix.

The video, directed by Nevena Vukes and Dinko Čvorić – Doringo (who also handled editing and color), visually complements the track’s laid-back yet thought-provoking atmosphere.

With “Odma i Sad,” Rambo Amadeus once again proves his lasting relevance and adaptability, while Elvis Sršen continues to stand out as a refined author and producer capable of merging musicality with subtle commentary.
