British rock trio Muse presents the new single "Be With You", officially announcing their tenth studio album "The WOW! Signal", which is scheduled for release on June 26, 2026. The announcement is accompanied by the announcement of a major world tour starting this summer, as well as a comprehensive radio and video campaign.
"Be With You" brings the band's recognizable, but production-elaborated sound - the song develops from an atmospheric introduction on the organ, through layered electronic textures, to a powerful, anthemic chorus. Thematically, the song deals with the idea of distance and the need to connect, which fits into the album's broader concept inspired by communication across space and time.
The album "The WOW! Signal" was inspired by one of the most intriguing scientific phenomena of the twentieth century - a mysterious radio signal detected in 1977 by the "Big Ear" telescope. This phenomenon, known as the "Wow! signal", has fueled theories of possible extraterrestrial origin for decades and served as the creative basis for the band's new creative phase. In accordance with that idea, Muse raised the promotion of the single to a conceptual level - in cooperation with a company specializing in stratospheric experiments, a device was launched that broadcast content related to the song "Be With You" into the upper atmosphere, symbolically "sending a signal" outside the Earth and directly referring to the album's theme.
"The WOW! Signal" follows the hugely successful album "Will Of The People" (2022), which reached number one in the UK Albums Chart and charted across Europe and the world, confirming the band's continued global influence. The album spawned a number of notable singles and was followed by a sold-out world tour, further cementing Muse's respectable status. Over a two-decade career, Muse have built a reputation as one of the most innovative bands of their generation. With over 30 million albums sold worldwide and numerous awards, including two Grammys, the band is known for fusing alternative rock, electronica and symphonic elements, as well as for spectacular concerts. All this makes Muse one of the greatest contemporary rock bands.
With the new album, the band members continue to find inspiration in their long-standing fascination with science, technology and the universe, but at the same time bring a more intimate dimension - an exploration of the human need for contact in an era of increasing distance.
The single "Be With You" by Muse has been available on all streaming platforms since March 20.
