The band KIKA released the single "Dan po dan" - a song about small victories and self-preservation

The band KIKA released a new single "Dan po dan", published by Mascom - a song that talks about a modern man facing the pressures of a fast-paced world, constant expectations and personal self-examinations. In a time that often feels like a centrifuge, this track brings an intimate but universal call to slow down, be present and believe in small, everyday victories. The song was born from a personal experience of struggling with anxiety and a feeling of being torn apart, as well as the fear that we can easily get lost if we look too far ahead. "Dan po dan" does not deny the chaotic nature of the moment, but rather reminds us of the importance of nurturing one's inner being, patience and accepting one's own pace. At its center is the idea that small victories are the foundation of all change.

As the author and frontwoman of the band Kristina Jovanović points out:"You fall. You get up. You go. You fall, get up and go - one day at a time and that's a big victory. And daily victories are important. When we divide things into small and even smaller steps, then it's much easier to overcome something, bear it and make a change."

The band KIKA is an author's project led by Kristina Jovanović, a singer-songwriter known for her introspective lyrics and the combination of an alternative pop-rock sensibility with an intimate atmosphere. The band has so far released one album and EP "Magistrala".With the song "Ja ču da igram" Kika started a new stage in her work, and with frequent club gigs she creates a direct and unbreakable connection with her audience.

The new song "Dan po dan" carries a broader message - that we all live in the same world, with different but related struggles, and that these shared experiences can be a source of relief and empathy."If we look at life day by day, then every day we have a chance to be better, gentler, braver. The stories we have in our head about the past and the future can freeze us, and I believe encouraging and being in the moment is the cure. We all have our obstacles, but hearing ourselves and living honestly is possible if we go step by step, awake and out of love," adds Christina.
