Sara Renar has released “Smile and Wave”, the third single from her latest album Nježne riječi (Gentle Words). Written and composed by Renar herself, the track was arranged with Dimitrije Simović and produced in collaboration with Jan Kinčl. The single comes out via Croatia Records.
Musically, “Smile and Wave” continues the album’s refined emotional landscape, blending electronic textures, subtle beats, and warm brass arrangements (featuring trumpet and saxophone) into a layered, intimate sound. The song’s title hints at quiet resilience, wrapped in Renar’s characteristically introspective lyricism.
The accompanying video, directed and edited by Renar herself, embraces a minimalist aesthetic focused on movement and mood, reinforcing her strong artistic vision beyond songwriting alone.
