ZHIVA released the powerful video single "Atom": Love on the verge of self-destruction

One year after the release of her second studio album, one of the most authentic new authors of the regional alternative scene, Iva Pažin ZHIVA, released a new video single "Atom" for Glitch Records.

It is a trip-hop/metal song that explores love on the verge of self-destruction - an intense, dark and obsessive emotion. The song and the music video were born out of the need to show an authentic, unconventional emotion.

At the same time, they announce a new, darker and bolder creative chapter, as well as a longer release planned for the end of the year.

"'Atom' is a song where I allowed myself to go a step further. I needed a break to come up with a sound and feeling that is completely my own," said ZHIVA. Music and lyrics are signed by ZHIVA, and production, arrangement and music by producer Toshi Domaćin. The guitar parts were recorded by Danijel Grahovac, and the drums by Riad Šuta, whose contributions gave the song rawness and weight.

The video was produced and directed by Toshi Domaćin, according to the ZHIVE script, with the camera of Ismar Begtasevic and Dženan Đopa.

The visual identity, design and editing are by Ismar Begtasevic, while the choreography was created by Thomas Steyaert. Dancers Ajra Branković, Amila Šnagić and Franko Bralo take part in the video, and the recording was realized in the Klicker studio.

The song "Atom" was created last year and brings a breakthrough from the previous frameworks - both sonically and authorially. Intimate, powerful and energetically different, it represents a departure from the comfort zone and announces the direction in which her musical expression will further develop.
