Slovenian artist Tschimy (who says of himself: "I mostly just press buttons and sing") has released a new single "Ruševine", on which he is joined by singer-songwriter and poet KiKi, bringing a tender, emotional song packaged in a minimalist, but extremely charming animated video.
Through a combination of subtle electronics, intimate vocals and poetic lyrics, "Ruševine" speaks about the fragility of relationships, memories and what remains after a breakup.
The animated video was created by Danaja Kurnik, whose minimalist and playful visual approach perfectly complements the song’s dreamy atmosphere. Lyrics were written by Tschimy and KiKi, with Tschimy handling audio production and mixing, while mastering was done by Gašper Letonja.
Released via Ente Tapes, “Ruševine” is available across all major streaming platforms and further highlights Tschimy’s affinity for intimate songwriting, lo-fi sensibility and thoughtfully crafted visual storytelling.
