Mayales and Edo Maajka - the hit that everyone already adores got a music video!

Muzzik is thrilled!

Mayales have just released a new single and music video for one of their favorite collaborations - the hit song "Bilo je bilzu" with Ed Maajko.

We freely call the song a hit, because since its release on their acclaimed album Boutique Pop vol.1 in the middle of last year, this collaboration with Edo has become one of their most listened to songs on streaming services, and it also enjoys the adoration of the audience at concerts.

The video for the song, directed by Dinko Šimac, was created at a sold-out concert in Zagreb's Peta Kupe, where Edo Maajka joined the band on stage and where they filmed this perfect video postcard together with the audience.

"People are certainly more bored reading eulogies, but with Edo Maajka you really have no other. We made a really great collaboration, and I am even more happy with the creative process. Anyone who has worked with him knows that it is an extremely pleasant and incredibly interesting process. Edo is full of creative ideas, and always one step ahead, ready to unleash incredible craziness. But I'm tired of praising him - I'll just say that he can't sing at all!" - laughs Petar Beluhan, frontman of Mayales, and Edo Maajka continues: Mayales is one of the best local bands, when Petar called me, I couldn't wait to hear what they had buried. That track is exactly what I miss on stage, great groove, super riff, Peter's singing sounds genius, relaxed, powerful. We met in their creative den and recorded everything quite quickly. You can feel that relaxation and banter in the song, certainly one of the favorite collaborations - Edo is clear.

"Consciously or unknowingly, Ed started a new moment in Mayales. After his guest appearance at the opening of the Tour de Pop tour, a trend started, with Eda's blessing, of course, that in each subsequent city - we have another guest rapper who performs some of his own interpretation of Eda's rap in this song - and that's great." - explains Pero.
