MUZZIK TV announces the opening of the fifth edition of MUZZIK VIDEO AWARDS – MVA 5G, a prestigious regional festival of short music films and music videos.
This festival celebrates music videos as an authorial and artistic format and connects the music, film and creative industries of the region. The competition is open to all producers, directors, music performers, record labels and publishers who have made their music videos between April 5, 2023 and December 31, 2025.
Applications must be sent by February 5, 2026 to the address mva5g@muzzik.tv.
The selection jury will announce the nominated video works on March 5, and the audience will be able to vote via the Muzzik TV website until May 5, 2026.
The announcement of the winner will take place in Zagreb, in May 2026.
Why MVA 5G? By symbolically broadcasting the video “Video Killed the Radio Star” at the end of 2025, the festival announces the return of music television to the audience’s focus in 2026.

MVA 5G selects the best, original and creative music video singles and continuously discovers new music and video talents from the region. The Alps–Danube–Adria music scene is once again among the most dynamic in Europe, and Generation Z is taking leading positions on the mainstream scene.
The result is a genre-rich and stylistically diverse video production, ready for TV, streaming and digital visibility. A video clip is one of the rare formats that allows a performer to present their poetics, aesthetics and attitude towards the world.
Although video is often considered to have moved to digital, its return to TV and streaming proves the irreplaceable value of visual storytelling. The festival includes 20 categories, including: Best Video, New Artist Video, Rock, Pop, EDM, Indie, Hip Hop, R&B, Direction, Editing & FX, Cinematography, Art Direction, Animated Video, Lead Role, Video with a Message, Balkan Beat, Covers and Comedy.
