Alex Britti – „Gelido“ (feat. Mario Biondi)

Italian singer-songwriter and guitarist Alex Britti, renowned for blending pop, blues and jazz and known for hits like “Solo una volta (o tutta la vita)” and his win in the Newcomers category at the Sanremo Festival, has released a new duet version of his song “Gelido” with the exceptional vocal talents of Mario Biondi.

Britti has spent decades building his career as a soulful guitarist and songwriter, and through his Feat.Pop project he revisits his catalogue with special collaborations.

Mario Biondi is an Italian soul and jazz vocalist from Catania whose deep baritone voice brought him international success with songs like “This Is What You Are” and earned him comparisons to icons such as Barry White for his warm, rich tone.

The song "Gelido" uses the metaphor of “coldness” to express emotional distance and inner disorientation — a state where someone no longer recognizes themselves, as if a chill has extinguished feelings, habits and certainties. In the duet with Mario Biondi, it becomes an intimate conversation about vulnerability, introspection and the complex nature of love.
