Sziget Festival announces schedule and timetable for 2026 edition

Sziget Festival, Budapest / 11-15 August 2026

Sziget Festival has announced its 2026 schedule, allowing festival-goers to plan their daily schedule and discover when, where and at what time each artist will perform. The full schedule is now available via the official Sziget app and website, revealing how the festival’s recently announced program additions, including the new performing arts district Jardin des Arts, will take place on Liberty Island.

Sziget takes place from 11-15 August in Budapest, Hungary. In recent weeks, Sziget Festival has unveiled new program features and a brand new district dedicated to the performing arts. Jardin des Arts is Sziget’s new home for contemporary circus, dance, audiovisual arts and multidisciplinary performances. At the heart of the district is Le Grand Théâtre, where every evening more than 1,500 spectators can immerse themselves in extraordinary worlds of movement, imagination and storytelling. Highlights include Liberty Love Rave by Recirquel, a Hungarian production of contemporary circus.

MOBILIS is an open-air space where audiences and performers connect through movement, dance and participation. Another new addition is Le Dome, an impressive venue where theatre, visuals and technology come together. By day, it serves as an intimate black box space for dance and theatre performances. At night, the dome transforms into a living audiovisual playground, surrounded by an LED ring and projection mapping of worlds.

The published schedule now reveals how this diverse programme unfolds on Liberty Island. Among this year’s highlights, Zara Larsson and SOMBR will perform on the main stage on the opening day, while Jorja Smith and Skrillex will close the festival on August 15. Underworld, Nia Archives, Dijon and Parcels are among the acts performing on the Revolut stage.

The schedule also highlights the diversity of Sziget's program: On Wednesday, The Buzz will host international artists, including Tanzania's Zawose Queens, Germany's Ikkimel, Hungary's Jazzbois and the American band HEALTH, while dropYard welcomes Wild Wild Women from India, Chadia from Italy and YT from the UK. In the iconic Colosseum - Sziget's famous 360-degree space built from wooden pallets - festival-goers can enjoy electronic artists including Swimming Paul, HAAi, Patrick Mason, Joris Voorn and Richie Hawtin.

Baby Lasagna on the Island of Freedom

For Croatia, Sziget 2026 holds a special weight. Baby Lasagna, or rather Marko Purišić with his band, will perform on the Buzz stage on August 14.

After second place at Eurovision 2024 with the song "Rim Tim Tagi Dim", the debut album DMNS & Mosquitoes released in early 2025 and a European tour, Sziget is the next big step in his international career.

"There are no expectations because we have never performed at such a big festival. We have a clean slate. That's the best thing for me," said Purišić in announcing the performance.

With the full schedule now available, visitors can plan their festival experience down to the minute. Not all spots on the program have been filled yet: Sziget recently announced an open call for DJs who would like to perform at Camping of Nations.

Every year, Sziget brings together visitors from more than 100 countries around the world. In August, people travel to Budapest by train, bus, car, plane and even bicycle. After arriving, some decide to camp on Freedom Island, while others stay in the city and commute to the festival every day. To make getting around easier, Sziget has launched the Sziget City Pass, giving Sziget residents access to Budapest’s public transport network for the duration of their stay.
